Our club is run soley by volunteers and they will all tell you that the time they give to FRPC always leads to fun and rewarding experiences.

Director’s Corner

The meeting of the Board of Directors has minutes that are able to be viewed by all active members. They are locked away. But, any request to view them is honoured. Just ask any member of the Board when you see one.

Board Meeting Minutes

Here are the main items of interest to members from the latest Board Meeting:

  1. The Bunker rebuild plans are now in-house. We are evaluating and the planning is ongoing. You can find the plans HERE (link to included pdf)
  2. A sea container purchase for ORPS gear is ongoing; ground clearance to be done and/or done now
  3. Newsletter statistics presented; essentially only 25% to 30% membership engagement in total; it was decided to only publish semi-annually going forward
  4. The Board has approved gas cards to be awarded to club Event and Match Organizers at the annual AGM starting in 2026 as a token of our appreciation for all the hard work throughout the year; current year recipients will have them mailed to them; a full list of club Event and Match Organizers is below.

A Lifetime Shaped by Early Shooting Memories I recall trying to play with these two particular toy guns that had actual plastic bullets that were spring loaded and could actually shoot through the toy gun barrels. August 2025

Rifle shooting has been great fun as we continue to work through the summer program. We did a lot of “grouping & zeroing” in preparation for the 22 Rifle Match that was held on 12 July. Max did not disappoint and provided us with a number of very challenging targets. Tony G. and Rick K. turned in top scores for the 50-yard event and Doug V. and Dave L. did the honours at 100 yards.
